When Jessica first contacted us to book their wedding photography …
I was wondering if you would have any availability and interest in the photography for Daniel and my wedding on September 24th in Lorne at the Catholic Church. We’re having a very small and simple wedding with our parents, siblings and baby niece and nephew.
We won’t be having a reception, just a family dinner together, but we would love you to help record and remember our wedding and some family photos around Lorne.
You photographed my best friend’s (Jenna) wedding in Lorne a few years ago so I’m a big fan of your style and talent! I should mention that because it will be such a simple wedding, we’re much more interested in photos of our family together rather than wedding details and so we would most likely be after your 5 hour no fuss photography package.
With only ten people at the wedding, we can easily change plans if something isn’t working or if there’s a sudden downpour. The photo locations aren’t as important to us as making sure everyone is smiling and having fun (including yourselves).”
Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Lorne
A historic church built in 1956 with a viewing platform overlooking Lorne and the beach. Inside the unique church the walls can be lifted up allowing air to flow through on a hot day.
With the tranquil sound of the ocean, stunning coastal views, lush green hinterland and every possible need met by Lorne’s great facilities, whether your wedding is an intimate gathering or an elaborate celebration, Lorne has everything to make your wedding preparation and celebration a magical event.
Erskine Falls, Lorne
Erskine Falls is a short drive out of Lorne and is one of the most popular falls in the Otways and easily accessible.
The 30 metre falls are attractive even when there is little water tumbling into the pool below. It is an easy walk to the first lookout, providing a spectacular view over the falls. The steep climb down steps to the second lookout is more strenuous, but worth it for the view from the beautiful fern gully.
